NEMO

NEMO 2001

This year we will revert back to our more traditional format with just the NEMO group. Ken Desmarais will host NEMO 2001 at the Fox State Forest in Hillsboro, NH. Fox Forest is nestled in the hills of NH about a half hour west of both Manchester and Concord (~draw a triangle). It is an old research facility run by the state and dates back to the 1930s. It has a very nice meeting facility reminiscent of our first meeting in Portsmouth, NH. In addition, there is a large research and demonstration forest where "state-of-the-art" silvicultural operations are currently being conducted. As part of NEMO this year, we will have a tour of these areas hosted by Ken. Please see the link to the 2001 Agenda for details. At present we are requesting presentations for the meeting, please see the registration links below. The meeting is scheduled for August 22-23, 2001. At this time we are looking for contributions in the following areas...

Integrating models and management
Innovative applications in inventory and sampling
Arcane advances (i.e., anything Bayesian will fit here!)

Accommodations near Fox include both B&Bs and motels. Fox is located about 1/2 hour from both Concord and Manchester, NH. Registration 2001

A registration fee of $30 will cover the cost of the barbeque, box lunch and breaks for NEMO 2001. Please download and complete the registration form in order to register for the NEMO Meeting 2001. Payment for registration is due by August 1, 2001.

If you would like to give a presentation, please download and fill out the call for presentations form. This form is due by June 15, 2001 in order to have your submission considered.
